The Interfaith Church of Australia keeps a membership register which includes some personal information.

We occasionally collect statistical data that may or may not included personally identifiable information.

How do we use this information?

The membership register is used to keep a track of the membership as required under association law in Queensland, Australia.

Statistical data is used for research and educational purposes.

What information do we share?

The membership register is kept for internal purposes only and as required under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. Your personal information will never?be shared with anyone who is not required to know it in their duties as an officer of the Church. Your personal information will?never be shared with any third parties unless required under law in the state of Queensland, Australia. Your personal information may be shared with law enforcement authorities if required in the enforcement of criminal law in Queensland, Australia so long as the separation of Church and State remains unchanged in section 116 of the Constitution of Australia.

Statistical data may be shared with third parties for the purpose of research where it benefits the Church or the Interfaith movement. Statistical data may be used for academic papers or news releases provided by the Church. Personal information (Name; Address; Suburb; Postcode; Contact details) will never?be released in conjunction with statistical data.
